Bend the Branch

The monsoon’s gone and the trees now wear a lush green look. This is possibly the best time of the year. The other day I saw a mynah swaying away, perched on the tip of a Ashoka tree. The bird stayed there for a while and a few moments later another mynah wanted to join in but couldn’t, reason being there was space for one on that tender tip. Amazingly, the bird that was on the tip slid a little lower and bend the tender tip to accomodate a companion. I guess, it’s just the same with being successful. We enjoy our achievement more when we share it with others. The best part of the journey is reaching our destination but it is enjoyable if someone joins us and screams, celebrates and shares our laughter. So while being at the top and swaying just try bending the branch.
